Read page by page, or one word at a time.
ReadGo is a reading app for your own books and documents. Read calmly in Page, or move faster in Focus. Switch at any moment and carry on from the exact same word.
Switch without losing your place.
Page and Focus share one position. Read a few pages, switch to Focus for the next stretch, then switch back. You are always on the same word.
Try it: tap any word on the page, then switch to Focus.
Bring what you already have.
Import your own EPUB, PDF and text files, in any language. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is included, so you can try both modes straight away.
Photograph a printed page. Read it as clean text.
Scan pages of a paper book or a handout. Text recognition runs on your phone, so your pages are never uploaded. ReadGo then tidies the text for reading.
She took down a jar from one of the shelves as she passed; it was labelled “ORANGE MARMALADE”1 but to her great disappointment it was empty: she did not like to drop the jar, so managed to put it into one of the cupboards as she fell past it.

Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, and of having nothing to do: once or twice she had peeped into the book her sister was reading, but it had no pictures or conversations in it, “and what is the use of a book,” thought Alice “without pictures or conversations?”
A few minutes, every day.
Set a daily goal in minutes. ReadGo keeps your streak and shows your week in the Stats tab. Minutes count in either mode.
Your books and your reading stay on your phone.
Nothing uploaded
Books, scans and reading history are stored on the phone. Scanned pages are recognised on the phone too.
Your choice
The app sends anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, never book text or titles. You can switch each one off.
Listen when your eyes are busy.
Listen mode will read any of your books aloud, like an audiobook, starting from the word you stopped on. When you can look again, Page and Focus open at the word the voice reached.
You read on the way in.
Your stop arrives in the middle of a chapter. You close the app at
“…down a large rabbit-hole”
The book carries on aloud.
One tap, and the voice starts from the same words while you drive:
“…down a large rabbit-hole under the hedge.”
You read again.
The page opens where the voice stopped. Nothing to find, nothing to rewind.
Listen mode is in development and is not in the beta yet. Details may change.
